Sanjay Thirumalai

Sanjay Thirumalai is a seasoned business leader with over 25 years of experience in India and US across strategy, operations, and transformation.

He is currently the Chief Global Delivery Officer at Stout, a global investment bank and advisory firm; and lives in the Washington DC Metro area. He has worked for global firms such as Grant Thornton, HP, J&J, and KPMG in the past.

Sanjay is an alum of YPO, a global network of business leaders; and has been associated with several nonprofits – Gift of Adoption fund, Bangalore Food Bank, and Social Venture Partners. He also mentors several young professionals and a few innovative technology start-ups.

He received a Bachelor of Engineering and an integrated Master of Science degree from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani in India; and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

Sanjay researches, writes, and speaks on topics such as digital disruption, leadership/culture, and happiness. His other interests are reading, travel, sports, and hiking.
